A Lifestyle Newborn Session with an Older Baby

A Unique Lifestyle Newborn Session | Richmond Virginia Birth and Newborn Photographer

This was one of my absolute favorite sessions to date! While we called it a Lifestyle Newborn Session, it was really a Lifestyle Newborn Session with an older baby!

The family made their move from out of state to Richmond all while having a new baby. They wanted to really find their groove in new parenting, as well as settle into their new home before scheduling their session, which I think is so smart. I cannot tell you how much I loved spending time with their family and capturing their cute, not so newborn little girl in a lifestyle session.

I promise, it’s not too late to do a “newborn session,” if that’s something you want. By having this session a little later, we got to really capture how they love spending time together most: with books, and snuggles, and petting the dog. The sweet snuggles melted my hear every time, especially with that cute little thumb in her mouth.

Just wait until you see the precious nursery. It is just so sweet and subtly girly. I loved the messages of strength and positivity that filled the walls and books. Not to mention the little daisy pillow, floral prints, and the real plant.

Let this be my plea for more lifestyle sessions with older babies and kiddos. I love it so much!
